Lindsay Lohan takes 'Ugly' turn on 'Betty'

Lindsay Lohan is getting "Ugly" for her next acting gig.

The "Mean Girls" star will appear in six episodes of the hit ABC show "Ugly Betty," including this season's finale, set to air May 22 at 8 p.m.

Lohan will play Kimberly, a mean girl from high school who suddenly resurfaces in Betty's (America Ferrera) life, ABC said yesterday.

"She was terrific - a pleasure," "Ugly Betty" creator Silvio Horta told Usmagazine.com of Lohan's guest spot. "She came in early and was very pleasant."

Lohan's appearance on the May 22 show has already been shot. The next five episodes, to air next fall, will be taped this summer.

"[Kimberly and Betty] are going to run into each other," said Horta. "Kimberly's life has taken a turn for the worse."

The first glimpse audiences will get of the "Herbie: Fully Loaded" actress will come in flashback form, in which Kimberly is shown choosing teams for high school dodgeball.

"It doesn't turn out well for Betty," Horta said.

Lohan, who has been in and out of rehab for alcohol addiction the past few years, has been struggling to get her acting career back on track. It was recently announced that she is set to star in the film "Manson Girls."
