Angelina Jolie : Angelina Jolie does the Cannes-Cannes

CANNES, France - A radiant, very pregnant Angelina Jolie took center stage yesterday on Day 2 of the Cannes Film Festival to promote her animated flick, “Kung Fu Panda.”

Jolie is the voice of an assertive tigress and martial arts maestro in the Dreamworks film, which also features the voices of Jack Black and Dustin Hoffman.

Asked to confirm twins were on the way, Jolie turned to Black who outed her baby secret the day before to NBC newsgal Natalie Morales.

“It’s triplets,” Black buzzed back. “They’re due Aug. 29.”

Jolie, who is actually due to deliver Aug. 19, was asked how she balances the glitz and glam of the international film biz with her role as a United Nations goodwill ambassador.

“This is my job and I’m very fortunate to be an artist,” said the Oscar-winning actress. “And I don’t look down on people who are fortunate to have a lot in life, but I expect them as I expect myself to be generous with what were blessed with.

“My daily life is not this, my daily life is being home with my kids,” she said. “There is very little division with that, understanding what’s happening in the world makes me a better parent with my kids.”

As for the glitz, Jolie, who is also here flogging Clint Eastwood’s “The Changeling,” said while she’s out meeting the media, her partner, Hollywood hunk Brad Pitt, is back at the rented villa taking care of kiddies Maddox, Pax, Zahara and Shiloh. (He did, however, make the red carpet scene at the premiere later that day.)

While Jolie voices a fierce feline on the big screen, she’s not exactly a tigress at home.

“I think I have a very even partner right now, and I think we’re very balanced at home with our power-sharing,” she said. “But I think every woman in some way is a tigress or would like to be.”

“Cannesgelina” also reconfirmed that she’s thinking about delivering her children here in the land of wine and cheese.

“I haven’t completely decided but we are thinking of France. It’s the second language in our house and I’m still learning so I’m not going to attempt it today here, my rusty French. But our children are starting to speak French so being here is very good for them and their language.”

“Kung Fu Panda” opens June 6.
